The Role's Purpose
We are seeking a skilled Application Software Engineer to take ownership of the configuration, optimisation, and integration of our core SaaS platforms including Skipso, HubSpot, and Contractbook. The role focuses on configuring, designing and maintaining the applications and build integrations to ensure seamless data flow between systems.
What You'll Do
- Configure, maintain, and improve SaaS tools including Skipso, HubSpot, and Contractbook.
- Design, build, and maintain REST API integrations across SaaS tools.
- Implement webhook-based event handling and synchronisation jobs.
- Build automated data pipelines and maintain data consistency.
- Collaborate with multi teams to ensure requirements are met.
Your Skills
Essential:
- Experience configuring SaaS platforms such as HubSpot, SharePoint, or similar.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing API integrations.
- Familiarity with cloud integration tools like Zapier, or Make.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging capability.
- Ability to translate business processes into technical solutions.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work.
- Highly organised with an understanding of innovation and collaboration practices
- Skipso: workspace configuration and custom forms.
- HubSpot: custom objects, workflows, and APIs.
- Contractbook: API configuration and contract lifecycle automation.
- Degree or diplomas in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 3–5+ years in a technical SaaS engineering or integrations-focused role.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., HubSpot or Microsoft ) are advantageous.
- Due to the nature of this position, our work, and our client engagements, you must be willing and eligible to achieve a minimum of SC clearance. To qualify for SC clearance, you must be a British Citizen or have resided in the UK for the last 5 years with no extensive periods outside of the UK. Pre-existing SC welcome. Your Experience
Desirable
- Experience working in an innovation / start-up / venture environment. Ideally with proven experience working on projects or programme
- Good understanding of innovation, collaboration and project management practices, tools, and methodologies
- Experience with working with multiple stakeholders, such as startups and corporate clients, but also understanding the practicalities of working in a small and growing company
- Experience with processing and presenting high volumes of data
- Experience configuring and maintaining Power BI dashboards, including managing datasets, updating visualisations, and supporting end users.
- Experience contributing to the rollout, testing, or adoption of new tools, templates, or digital workflows.
